What is a
Gac Egg?
It is an egg produced by a hen fed complete layer feed containing gac powder.
Gac is a fruit with natural colour compounds called carotenoids, including lycopene and beta-carotene. A feed team chooses the amount of gac powder to add to the layer feed.
The idea is simple: use a distinct fruit ingredient in the feed to develop a distinct egg for buyers.
